Tia’s in Denton
1989 - 2006
Description — Permanently Closed
In March of 1989 the business under which the Denton Tia’s Tex-Mex restaurant would run, “Tia’s Club - Denton,” was created.1 The chain started as a family restaurant in 1986.2 In the early 90’s Tex-Mex gained popularity, and in the Dallas-Fort Worth area Tia’s operated several locations.3
Unfortunately, Tia’s empire collapsed in September of 2006, and all its locations were closed.4
